Plan the race.
Watch the time fall.

Strides builds your race plan and writes every workout in it. Edit any session, save the ones you love to your library, and send them to your Garmin. Then watch your predicted finish fall, week by week.

Today

One screen. One run.
Everything else can wait.

Open Strides and the day is already sorted. This is the whole Home screen, top to bottom.

The Strides Home screen from top to bottom: this morning’s Coastal Long Run with its route, tonight’s strides session, this week’s chart, an insight about pace, and saved workouts.

Plan

A plan that fits
the week you have.

Pick your race, the days you can run and how many hard sessions you want. Strides builds the block, steps it back when it should, and tapers you into race day.

What are you training for?

Hard sessions a week

Built around your week

Only the days you can run, with limits on the short ones. A limit is a promise: no run goes past it.

You choose the hard days

None, one or two workouts a week. You see a real week of each before you decide.

See what it does for you

An estimate for every distance, today and on race day, so the block has something to aim at.

Workouts

Write it once.
Run it on your wrist.

Put the session down the way your coach says it: warm up, six 800s at 6:10, two minutes easy between. Strides turns it into steps with pace ranges, saves it to your library and sends it to Garmin. Neither Runna nor Strava lets you build and keep workouts of your own.

  • Reps side by side, each with its target range
  • Save the sessions you love and drop them on any day
  • Scheduled workouts land in Garmin Connect
The workout builder: 6 × 800 Track with warm up, a repeat of six 800 m reps at 6:10 per mile, and a cool down.
The saved workout: a speed session of about five miles and 52 minutes, with its profile of reps and a Schedule button.

Activities

See the month
you’ve built.

Every month opens on its own summary: the miles, the runs, the hours, and a bar for every day you ran. Under it, each run keeps its type, its numbers and the way you ran it, so a glance shows how the training was spent.

Feature availability reflects the named workflow, not every related feature. A cross means the precise workflow is not offered in our product assessment, not a blanket claim about all related features. Runna supports pace targets and a curated workout library; the comparison is specifically about a side-by-side rep view with pace ranges and creating, editing and saving fully custom reusable workouts. US standard individual pricing and product information checked September 9, 2026; taxes, regions, purchase channels and offers may vary. Runna is $19.99/month; Strava is $11.99/month.
